How about an Allman Brothers "only available via download" series?

Thought this deserved its own thread. Because I am a masochist. See the Any New Studio Releases? thread for more. Masochism.
How much of an investment would it be to hire someone to mix a final versions of some of the unreleased pro recordings (Like the Macon 12/29/91 Kind of Bird!) and then release one track or two at a time as part of a special promotion in the vein of "30 Days of the Dead" (March 26 "Where It All Begins" Annual Anniversary Release! for example)? Seems like going download-only would save a lot of production cost and risk. Quick and easy $$ for the band and more product for a grateful fan base.
I get there is more to it but I would love to know what that is because this seems like it would be in everyone's best interest including adversarial royalty and rights owners.

Axe I meant to mention this on the Future Studio Release thread, but besides Dickey the ABB axed the only person close to them that had a clue to the fans wishes ... Kirk West IMO. Kirk was responsible for or had a hand in the release of at least the Evening With series. He sort of had a clue where the gold was buried and the desire and integrity to make the ABB appear decent. Yet ... they treated him in similar fashion although it appears to have blown over. What do I know? Always wondered 'bout that deal. May be fodder for another thread ...

If you read this Al Paul, would love to hear your take. Guessing there are some interesting stories there.

I would be all for more archive releases but I am really curious about the additional Duane Era shows mentioned in the HTN issue 35 article about the release of the 1970 American University show.
I seem to remember someone interviewed in the article claimed they had found a collection of Duane Era SB quality shows that have not seen the light of day yet?
Would love a chance to buy those no matter the sound quality.
