I guess there won't be any football fans there. It's the same night as the Oregon - Ohio St. NCAA title game.

It's probably not a frown, maybe he's just not using his dimples at the moment. It happens to me sometimes!

Bottom line says it all, or Should anyway -- they have Many mutual friends culled over the decades in music circles, & must have consented to do this as a way of helping a good cause (not to mention they more than deserve it Grin ) -- I'd Sure Go -- seems like ZZ & the ABB shared bills going back to the original band...

Musicians gather in Hollywood to celebrate ZZ Top and Allman Bothers Band legends

Last night, the famous Roxy venue in Los Angeles played host to a special event raising money for Adopt the Arts, a charity that promotes the arts in American public schools.

The show was held to honour ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons and Allman Brothers founding member Butch Trucks.

Ahead of the show, Adopt the Arts founder Matt Sorum said, "You know, the songs that those two guys have played on that are just monster hits could literally fill a stack of albums alone – just the hits! They’ve contributed so much through their decades of playing in these iconic bands. To show them some respect and pay homage for all they’ve given to the world through their music is going to be great."

Other musicians appearing included Slash, Duff McKagan, Richie Sambora, Orianthi, Steve Lukather, Edgar Winter and Frankie Perez. (Jimmy Vivino performed as well).

It looks like some fun was had at this show. I see pictures of Brooklyn Allman singing onstage with Butch and Slash and Billy Gibbons and Richie Sambora and Orianthi. Orianthi's twitter has some cool stuff on it.
