So did anyone get any musical goodies this season?

I got two on vinyl:

1. Elton John's Madman Across the Water. This is from my wife's colleague's father, so I guess you can call in vintage. It is really neat. I love the back jacket. The only flaw on it is one on the song "Indian Sunset", which has a small scratch. Some might recall Warren covering it.

2. Led Zepplin IV import. I love this album. This one is new on 180g vinyl, whatever that means. Crystal clear sound.

Anyone else? Smile

Everything in Moderation. Including Moderation.

Dan Auerbach’s first solo album “Keep it Hid,” on vinyl. Which I’m very excited about. I love that album.

Been wanting this one for a while as it is my favorite album by this band

While I love the studio album, the alt versions, and alt takes, the live disc sold it for me. Great live versions of earlier Sabbath classics.

Got the first self titled Moxy album. What's really unique about it is during recording one of the Moxy guitarists got sideways with the recording producer who kicked him out of the studios. Although  not credited on the album itself also in the studio at that time was Tommy Bolin. Bolin was familiar to the producer who asked him to fill in for the exiled guitarist. So, all but two of the guitar solos on the entire record are done by Bolin, one of my all time favorites.

Always loved getting/giving music for Christmas gifts.  This year, it was a guitar changing kit for Strat Jr. plus some cash to enjoy the tunes he wants (he knows he can always borrow dad's!).  Cheers!

@oldcoot It's difficult to think of a guitarist with Tommy Bolin chops. Eddie Van Halen, Steve Vai, Richie Blackmore etc couldn't blow him off the stage IMO.

I got Alan Paul's Brothers and Sisters book.  I also received a late birthday present - Porcupine Tree Live blu-ray from their last tour - which I saw in Chicago.
