It is a great show and a soundboard recording has been traded since 91. Not my favorite of the era but all the shows were good then except for Gregg on some nights but they would just bring him down in the mix.

Imagine if the ABB had adopted downloads long ago instead of fighting it. Instead these bootlegs get sold. There were so many SBDs leaked out and traded in the 90s. They could offer them all up themselves as downloads so all those not into trading could have access.

Oh well.

Again, it is in the Public Domain and is legal in the EU, as it has been more than 20 years. I wouldn't have posted it if I thought it was immoral or illegal.

That said, if Lana or Rowland asks me to delete it, I'll do so willingly.

Another way to look at it is by letting the ABB (?) and their "management" know about what's out there, maybe it'll force the issue and, now that they have their own label, finally take control and get this stuff out while they can still profit from it.

I've been around here for over 15 years, CM. I learned from some of the most respected traders here and believe me, I would MUCH rather buy it straight from the source. But one gets tired of waiting forever and if they don't do it, someone else will meet the demand for it.

Given the fact that the biggest names in rock are being "bootlegged" in the EU (again, where it is legal) and none have stopped it, leads me to believe that I'm in the right on this.

I DO wish they were ALL getting paid on it. But the laws are not on their side. And this stuff NEEDS to come out in decent quality. Not everybody has the wherewithal to trade or download and if they are willing to pay for it, it should be made available to them. Clearly the demand is there.

If I'm proven wrong, I'll promptly admit it and take the appropriate action.
