HELP! Portable Listening
Well my Sandisk took a dump. This is my 2nd one in a little over 2yrs. They are nice, but I doubt I will buy another. Any suggestions as far as other mp3 players? No Apple iPods and I don't want to use my phone. Unfortunately mp3 players are not being made to much any more. I know RCA makes one and I have seen sony has one on ebay.
Based on what a friend that I trust suggested after sharing this thread with him I bought a FiiO X3Mark III. I'm going to add a 250/256GB SD Card to it.
This is an awesome thread.
Thanks for the info!
Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

I had a Cowan I9 for a number of years, sounded great either with headphones or through speakers. However the volume control went kaput. Bought a FiiO x3 as well, it is without question the best mp3 player I have had and I've had a few. The FiiO plays every format, super easy to figure out all the controls and options. it doesn't or at least mine have Bluetooth, but no biggy I find that just chews up battery life anyway. Speaking of which my battery lasts for days on a single charge
Just got a bluetoof JBL Charge 3, they are getting cleared since JBL Charge 4 came out. Pretty amazing lil beast. Loud, runs all day on a charge. Pointsource blaster like a boombox, not great separation. Its waterproof too in case you cant get to the can in time.
I have my FiiO X3Mark III loaded with music. I inserted a 256GB SD Card so I have a lot of space to add more music. I love the sound quality especially with my headphones but the FiiO even sounds great when I'm working out and wearing $15 wrap around earbuds.
The only negative comment I can make on the FiiO is that I can not shuffle songs. I can play music by artists or playlist but their firmware does not allow you to shuffle songs.
