Anyone caught this on AXS? Man it's really really good, an entire 2 hour Stones show. Everyone is just in fine form and they keep chugging out the classic tunes.........damn there is just NO way that this band sounds over 50 years old. Recent show too, 2016.
Lots of highlights but it's hard to beat Ronnie and Keith out front both toting acoustics as Keith vocally NAILS You Got The Silver. Really no weak moments in the show..........Paint It Black is awesome and how about a NASTY Honky-Tonk Woman, Ronnie and Keith ripping those chords perfectly together. Karl Denson on sax and of course our own Chuckie on keys/musical director. Great female backing vocals through most of the show. One of them really shines in her solo spot in Gimme Shelter.
I hope you can find it I must confess I got it on my DVR maybe six months ago so I have no idea when they will show it again.
Watching the pure joy of the Cuban people is priceless and it looks like there are at least 150,000 of them. Most of them never imagined that this could ever happen in their country. But they know all the tunes.....

I agree Rob, I feel like I should see this band once and I know they are playing in Massachusetts this summer but the ticket prices are crazy.
i have this on dvd/cd. good stuff. wonder what the band would sound like without all the extra people on stage
This is a great dvd-cd set.The sound is high quality and yes the fans participation is awesome. The number of members is actually 2 less being 2 less horn players.Sasha Allen replaced Miss Lisa Fischer a few years ago.Karl Denson replaced Bobby Keys after he passed in 2016.All others remain the same for 2 plus decades.Ronnie being sober has inhanced the sound greatly.Keith absolutely loves what he does and it shows in his performances.And Charlie what can you say one of best drummers in rock history.Mick nobody better as a frontman.Ive seen a good # of there tours over the years and I’ll be going to Foxboro this summer for a paultry sum of 160.00 GA ticket on the field.If you want to see a bit of stripped down show of late check out Sticky Fingers live at the Fonda Theatre from 2015 another great one.One more thing the Cuban Women are beautiful.Peace
