The incredible Genesis tribute band The Musical Box is hitting the US again with a brand-new show. For the past few decades, they have faithfully reproduced specific Genesis tours from 1971-1976. However, this time around, they are doing a fantasy show, an amazing blend of songs that equate to a sort of "wish list" show. Should be good. I have my tickets to see them in NY already.
However, to my surprise, 2 other Genesis tribute bands are coming around. One is called "Rael," and they will play at Daryl's House in NY this Sunday, but I have to work.
The other band is called "The Genesis Show," and they will be at Ridgefield Playhouse in January, and I should be able to catch them. Has anyone here heard of them or seen them? They will be playing the "Seconds Out" album start to finish, with an encore of songs from "Three Sides Live." Sounds good to me!! I have read no reviews of them yet though.
