Where does the time go! Derek turns 40? Yikes I am old.

I've been fortunate enough to have seen Derek 35 times in the DTB, more times than I can remember with the STB, about 18 times with the TTB and seven times with the ABB. Derek is a generational player and I am happy to have experienced his playing so many times. In addition, he and Susan are one of the few success stories in R&R. A long lasting marriage with children under difficult at best circumstances. THANK YOU! You have changed, in many ways, how I appreciate music.
Happy Birthday to Derek! I continue to be in awe of his musical abilities and sensibilities. In addition, I always, _always_ enjoy reading or listening to his comments in interviews. Always respectful, to the point, and well-grounded. Always brightens my day to hear his music or listen to his thoughts.
