Happy 50th Anniversary to the Allman Brothers Band! Thanks to the original six members and subsequent members and crew for the gift of the wonderful music. I was going to post that it was magical when the original six formed, but really it was due to Duane's vision and determination, and all of the members' talents combined.

A monstrously huge part of my life for almost all of those 50 years. 49, to be exact. I first heard them when I was 14 and vividly recall thinking,"WTF is this?" Blew my mind. I couldn't believe Duane's playing. Never really have gotten over it. Enjoy it immensely to this day. Think I'll spin EAP.
Same here Piacere except a few years older. I have never gotten tired or bored listening to these 6 gentlemen make their magic.
