Yeah, I am a bedroom hacker with three guitars, Gibson LP Standard Raw power, 1987 ESP Mirage Custom, and 2001 ESP LTD MH301, but still would love to have a Gibson Les Paul Double Cut , ES335 or smaller body 339, Fender Stratocaster and Telecasters. All Natural finish if possible
I would also love another Gibson LP Standard like a Custom shop Bourbon Burst that looks like Duane's. Not because it is Duane's but I really dig the look of a faded Tobacco/ Bourbon Burst top. I would want the bourbon part to be faded just right and with a mild-figured book-matched top.
Something like this top
Not that I need them but would still love to own those guitars

@bill_graham Oh yes. That is one cool Les Paul. I would love to have it. On a lot of songs that LP fat tone is tops in my book. Warren Haynes played Paul Reed Smith guitars when I saw him with Dickey a couple of times in 1988. One was sliver which he used the first time I saw them.
When he joined the Allman Brothers Band, Warren had a bourbon burst or tobacco burst as some call it Les Paul and it was a great sounded Les Paul. Warren used it for years. But he still had the two PRS axes and a Fender Stratocaster with a red headstock but it eventually was stolen right off the stage to never be seen again by anyone in Warren's orbit. Wonder who lifted that guitar? And what did they do with it? It certainly wasn't someone who had any respect for Warren.
Here is the bourbon burst. I never see it being used in recent years but I think Warren still has it. Warren has a lot of guitars now and he said several he never uses much now but it's hard to part with them anyway.

Thanks for that video
Here is a photo I bought off of ebay of him playing a tobacco/bourbon burst with the thought of getting Warren to autograph it someday but just have never had the time to wait for him after a concert. Beautiful guitar and not sure how old this pix is but he looks pretty young so maybe even when he was playing with ABB?

@bill_graham Yes that certainly looks like 1989 to 1993 picture to me. That absolutely is a great sounding guitar. And a nice looking guitar. His gear page has no pictures but I think he still has it. Just moved on to other Les Pauls. And he has many other types. Warren owns several Gibson Firebirds. He has a left handed Strat strg right handed he calls "Jimi". Warren has names for all his electrics.

Here is a picture of Warren playing a rare tobacco/ bourbon burst 12 string Les Paul I got off of ebay. I seem to remember an interview with Warren where he said it was made special for him but I may be wrong. I have never tried a 12 string but this is a very cool Les Paul.
Here is a 12 sting goldtop.

I think this one has been brought up before. My joke: cardboard Strat - comes with a case made of swamp ash. 😉Posted by: @bill_grahamCardboard Fender Stratocaster

I have a friend who has a Gibson LP Special DC P90's and it rocks.
Here are some Epi Versions of a 339 and your LP Bourbon burst if you want to save some money.

This Smokehouse burst is pretty cool too!!
Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

Good picture of Warren playing his Gibson Les Paul dark/ bourbon burst 12 string which according to his old guitar tech Brian Farmer (RIP) was one of only two in the world.

@bill_graham I was just checking prices on the American made models. PRS is proud of those babies! 😉

@bill_graham Jeff Beck salutes Les Paul in Manhattan where Les played regularly in his last years.
Same show for Les Paul. I could see Warren Haynes in the audience a couple of times on the complete DVD of this show.
,

@bill_graham Monster amps! Heavy! As with my old Ampeg VT-22, I don't know why they put a suitcase handle on it. Hard to pick it up and carry it with the handle. Great amp, though!

Nasty guitar porn. Hot Strat single coil cranked up loud and a run away guitarists. He lets his solo get away from him a couple of times as he goes for high gear but a BIG E for effort!!!!
Hot dog!! The blues.

Heritage Guitars
These instruments are built in the former Gibson factory in Kalamazoo -by craftsmen who worked for Gibson -and with the same tools that were used when the plant was Gibson. New prices for similar makes and models seem lower than those for the current "standard" makes. You can find these things used at bargain prices. I guess the Gibson name still commands a high resale value?

@rusty I've heard good things about Heritage guitars. They have some new ones at the big music store here. Sunburst Les Paul style looks just like a LP with the body but they made the headstock distinctly different than Gibson. So when I saw one as my eyes glanced at the neck it was a quick giveaway. It is NOT a Gibson. They probably keeps them from being sued. Maybe Gibson has a steak in this?
I read Gibson lost their suit against Dean guitars.
