Gregg's friend Jan Marks dies R.I.P.. His book on the Brothers is out.

Legendary St. Louis singer Jan Marks has died of cancer. He was the lead singer of the great teenage band The Acid Sette in the mid-'60s. They and The Allman Joys played here at the same time and The Acid Sette could give the AJs a run for the money. With the late, great lead guitarist, Joey Marshall, whom Duane befriended and admired, they played songs such as Purple Haze, Talk, Talk and Try A Little Tenderness incredibly well. Jan had completed a book about the Brothers and his lifetime friendship with Gregg. The book is 28$ s+h included. Send a check to Leslie Braddock Marks, 129 Pine Needle Drive, Wentzville, Mo.,63385.

Do you have any more info on the book??
En-quiring minds want to know....

I know he is or was a big Allman Brothers Band fan but I don't see where he died on Google news.

his obit is posted. and yes he was an ABB fan thus, the mention on the boards here.
and now back to my question, does anyone know anything about the book?

I'm sure it's mostly a remembrance of the time he spent with the Allman Joys/ Hour Glass and ABB. He and Gregg remained friends until the end.
