Which of you bought Gregg's B3?
Very interesting. Is it worth that much? According to Devon Allman, Gregg owned 42 guitars at his death and he left all of them to Devon. I saw Allman Betts Band in October and Devon played several of his father's guitars both electric and acoustic. Duane Betts played 3 of Dickey's electrics and one acoustic and Berry Oakley, Jr. played his father's Fender bass I think Dickey saved then gave him in the early 1990's. I think Dickey had it mounted on a wall at his house. Dickey said he mentions how key Berry's bass style was to the ABB signature sound but often that part of interviews doesn't get printed.
@robertdee A B3 normally goes for about 5,000...so 105,000 is the fact he owned...
