Please take a look at the tour schedule.....
Aug 16 to Sept 3 = 12 shows in 19 days
Sept 16 to Oct 7 =14 shows in 21 days
That's not 8 shows a month.....

Per Rolling Stone............

Twenty-eight shows have been nixed as a result of Allman's health emergency, including his August 11th concert at Scranton, Pennsylvania's Peach Music Festival, his September 16th set at San Diego's Kaaboo Festival as well as the Morrison, Colorado stop of Allman's own Laid Back Festival. Allman's entire August tour with ZZ Top and his September solo tour have also been cancelled.

Gregg Allman has canceled the majority of his upcoming tour dates due to "serious health issues," the Allman Brothers rocker announced Friday. Allman is currently under his doctor's care at the Mayo Clinic.

Healing Love and Thoughts, with Prayers to Creator for Brother Gregg.

From the sound of it, I wouldn't focus on, or put much stock in any remaining potential tour dates. Go home and mend Mr. Allman. He has worked very hard for an organ transplant survivor.

get well Gregg...we all love you. Rest up big time, eat well...and if the musician's itch is too great, focus on penning a few while relaxing at home. Best wishes!

This is super serious and what we where afraid of after watching that sit in with Derek.

We fervently hope he 1) isn't having transplant rejection or 2) some other new, awful diagnosis.

Get well, Brother!!

Gregg is someone I have always loved even if I couldn't respect him - all that huge talent but he seemed to always want to throw it all away. I sure hope he recovers. My world hasn't been the same since John Lenon died. Gregg's that big to me and I'm sure most of you feel the same way. Hope prayers work.

Take the time you need and do what the Dr.'s tell ya. Also do some research, (internet), milk thistle is good for detoxifying the liver, in case you need to just clean it out. A lot of the food we get has no real nutritional value in it, the air is not clean, we don't get enough sleep and all these things are toxic to the body. We were not made to be living the way we do. When we get sick our bodies are telling us we need to look at that. It may not be convenient, but that's how it is.

You don't have to be perfect, just try to be the best you can be, respect our bodies, our time, our lives and help others along the way. That's how we are meant to live.

Take care, be thankful in all things.
