Stroll down memory lane!
The Washington Post just noted a new documentary — “Nighthawks on the Blue Highway" and gave a quick review of their history. Gregg is mentioned. Complete article:

A link from the above article goes to an interesting article from 1978 which discusses Gregg and The Nighthawks playing together numerous times in 1978 and Gregg's "issues" from those days: from drugs/alcohol to Cher, Scooter, tattoos, and losing his mom's spaghetti dinner off the side of the stage.
