Gregg Allman: Sneak Peek Interview with Dan Rather 2015

Gregg looks and sounds good. Thanks for the link.

I hope the whole interview is like this clip. Watched & read so many interviews with Gregg over the years where he refuses to engage with the interviewer and spend the time giving clipped or evasive answers. here he seems engaged and clear and ready to talk about his life.

Thanks, sent it out to a dozen friends this morning.

Wille,
Couldn't have said it any better. This is one of the better Gregg interviews I've read or seen over the years. Compare this (for example) to the book tour interviews, and this is light years beyond both in substance and in delivery. Of course when he did the book tour, his health wasn't great.
Good job, Gregg.

Thank you for posting. Love the man.

wow, what a great interview. Dan Rather really lets him talk. Very insiteful.

Awesome. Thanks for that. Regardless of all the negative stuff ditched at Gregg... it's not easy facing your fears, being sober and staying sober. Kudos to the man.

Dan Rather looks quite interested. He's gotta be a fan!

Rather definitely lets him talk but in the "sneak preview" I saw last night on AXS he mentioned "...losing your bass player..." and seemed to have forgotten his name. A fan wouldn't forget Berry Oakley!!!
While I'm glad to see Gregg being so up front and honest there are any one of a number of people they could have gotten to do the interview that really knew the band instead of that has-been Rather.
I'm taking off work to see this--it should be awesome.

Agreed. I hope Gregg is this "comfortable" throughout the whole piece and maybe shares a story or two we've never heard before......

Thanks for this. Gregg seems in a good place now. Wish I got AXS.

I don't get AXS either. I hope the full interview shows up on the Web somewhere so all can see.
