Does anyone know if this release has been delayed?I have noticed recently that Amazon says that this release is currently unavailable. My pre-order date still says 8-7-2015.

Unfortunately, it sounds like you got fleeced.

Oops, I'm sorry. I was confusing this with his All My Friends package. Think I'll go get a cup o' coffee....

A lot of their pre-order stuff is showing up as not available on and off lately. The new Keith Richards CD is doing that as well.

Amazon's pre-order stuff has been wacky on their webpage lately however I've gotten everything that I have pre-ordered on time thus far.

I wouldn't worry about it.

We've got it and are shipping it at HTN. The only delay I know is one week for the vinyl. I've been wondering about Amazon as well. I will ask the label.

You can buy all versions here:

Dear Joe, Vicky and everyone at HTN,
As has happened with every CD or DVD I've ordered from HTN, Gregg's Macon CD/DVD arrived in my mailbox today "on the day of release"! My wife and I are thoroughly enjoying the show, especially Brightest Smile In Town, I Found A Love and the bonus Floating Bridge. Gregg's vocals are as good as we've ever heard! And what an amazing band he has put together! Thanks again to everyone at Hittin' The Note for your excellent service. You guys are the best. Have a great rest of the Summer and see you at Gregg's Laid Back Festival at Jones Beach!
Peace,
Ernie and Maryclare

I've watched the video, and it is really powerful. The band is just awesome, full sound, great dynamics, and Gregg's vocals are spot on & strong. The production of the audio / video is A+.

I thought this was a great show up until the drum solo in the middle of "One Way Out". In my opinion that brought the festivities to a screeching hault. It just didn't fit into the song or at that point in the show. Everything else was excellent.

Was this show filmed over two shows and intermission or were any songs removed from the original show? There is a weird spot between Melissa and Midnight Rider where Gregg has changed shirts and pulled his hair up.

Did the band play an instrumental and they cut it out? When I saw the band a few months ago, Gregg left the stage and the band played Cradle Of Civilization without him.

This is one fantastic live album. If anyone had any doubts about Gregg's singing ability then listen to "Brightest Smile in Town". Just perfect!!!

Outstanding-got mine today.

The band is superb, they have a nice feel and they present familiar songs in new and interesting ways.

Gregg sounds so fine....just incredible how uniquely special his singing is...with Ray Charles,Muddy,Gregg is right there...a legendary voice thriving as he heads towards 70 years...amazing.

Been listening to this in the car the past two days and really enjoy it. Love the arrangements on Melissa and Midnight Rider. As good as those are it is the non ABB songs that are the best and at its best this album gave off a late night show at a jazz club vibe.

Nice post. You just made me want to get it; I was lukewarm before I read your post. And I've read enough of your posts to know that I trust your opinion.

This is an excellent review if you haven't seen it. You'll have to copy and paste it into your browser. This review along with the one IPowrie posted caused me to order the DVD last night at www.hittinthenote.com.

I got it in the mail yesterday and watched all of it last night. Although the setlist hasn't changed all that much, it's a very good documentation of Gregg and his new band. The performances are sterling throughout. Good rearrangements of all the ABB tunes, including a killer Hot 'Lanta. Gregg's voice is in fine form. And we do get some stuff you don't usually hear, like Brightest Smile In Town and I've Found A Love. The best I'm No Angel I've ever heard. Queen Of Hearts? Gorgeous. Love Like Kerosene is just smoking. Any Gregg fan needs to get this one. Marc Quinones really fills out the sound of this unit.
