Feel very fortunate just nabbed two for The Mule Saturday September 8th, Fox Theatre, Oakland, CA. Kudos to Warren and Co. for keeping prices low, it's an all GA show, $39.50. With all fees came to $104.70 for two. I feel very fortunate this late in the game, Ticketmaster website was jammed, I waited literally 15 minutes for them to come up which means it's very close to a sell out.

I've seen them around a dozen times but it's been maybe four years now. I'm interested in feedback from the current tour if anyone has been there. I know the Mule-O-Ween theme this year is Black Sabbath and as an old Sabbath freak that gets me excited. They doing any Sabbath this early on in the tour?

Well I went to mule.net and answered my own question, they are not doing any Sabbath. I looked at four set lists from the last week. The last one, 8/26, looked pretty good. The previous three were all Dark Side of The Mule shows. That doesn't wet my interest because I'm not much of a big Pink Floyd fan although I do love Wish You Were Here. Oh well...........hopefully they are done with that and 8/26 is a better indicator. Here's the 8/26 set list:

The show in Oakland is not a Dark Side of the Mule show - it'll be a straight ahead Gov't Mule show. The generally don't play the Halloween material in advance of the Halloween show unless it's stuff that's already been in rotation for them - so War Pigs isn't totally out of the question, though somewhat unlikely - but I wouldn't expect any other Sabbath material at this stage. However, Warren can always surprise - even in periods where Mule set lists have gotten a little stale - you can never be 100% sure what you are going to get - there are often curveballs.

Thank you, very glad to hear my show will be "a straight ahead Gov't Mule show" rather than Dark Side of The Mule."

Yeah, right on!!! Mule has always kept ticket prices very reasonable, which is very rare these days compared to others and ABB family member bands. You will never find a show better than GMule at those prices. Warren is the best!!!!!!!

Actually if Warren was charging $100, IMO that statement would still be true
