Gov't Mule: "Birth Of The Mule", Kiva Auditorium, Albuquerque, NM, 2/21/24

A sample from their second record, "Dose". The band is sounding great and yes, Kevin Scott is a monster on the bass.

Nice!! Very nice slide from Warren.
They have been four piece for a long while now.

Thanks for sharing rob. The band sounds as tight as ever with the new bass player.
Looks like Warren will be doing summer dates with his solo band.
Really hoping they announce Govt Mule East Coast dates for this summer as I need my live Mule fix bad

I sure hope he hits Chicago. The last time I saw him "solo" was when he was promoting Man in Motion. I can't believe it but that was 13 years ago.
Everything in Moderation. Including Moderation.

What did you hear about a Warren Band tour?
I see a couple of overseas dates.

Thanks Bill. Looking forward to some NY metro area shows. Always loved "Man in Motion. Thought it was some of his better songwriting.

100%. Loved that album. And the live album. And the tour. That was right up my alley. Way more that Mule, which is only “fine” for me.

Thought Warren was trying to keep ticket prices down...haha.

@mulemewarren Concert tickets now like buying a car? Haggle your own deal? Can I trade in unused tickets on a new show purchase? You remember tickets, dontcha? Those little slips of paper that you use to keep for souvenirs?

Luckily l'm on my own and only need a single. Usually singles are a lot less in the dynamic pricing scheme. But I've got a limit on $ even when its a show I've gotta see. Paying 200$+ for a show is just crazy, especially when you got to add in parking at most venues (which is another discussion) booze, eats and maybe a t-shirt or poster. Makes it a $300+ night of music, as I said crazy.

I can't go to the Boston show as my family will be on vacation that week but I was disappointed to see the price of primo front center tickets for this concert.
For past Mule concerts even the best seats were always under $100 but the primo fanclub seats for the Boston solo band concert are going for just under $200 with fees.
I don't blame Warren for getting the what the market will bear but he was one of the last bands I would go out of my way to get tickets for. Oh well, sign of the times I guess.
