LS had to cancel in Lakeland tonight when Gary Rossington became very ill. Gary, 65 and the only original lineup member in the band, was rushed to a Florida hospital where he is in intensive care with an adoman issue.
Gary had a heart attack and two heart surgeries in recent years. Thoughts and prayers for Gary and Dale Krantz Rossington and the entire Skynyrd family.
Without entering into the whole LS debate, I think Gary should retire and just relax and enjoy.
Hope he is OK.
Hope all will be well with him. I know he has had some health concerns over the last few years.

Since one poster said he has prior heart problems, he needs to take that seriously. Co-Q 10 is very good to help the heart. My aunt needed a transplant from advanced cardiomyopathy (she actually had cardiac asthma all her life that was misdiagnosed as regular asthma because of allergies till very late in life). She refused the transplant, (was told she needed one in her late 60's), used Co-Q 10 and lived into her 80's finally dieing of natural causes.
Tell Gary to get on the Co-Q 10.
