How about "All Messed Up" from Gary's hard rock/heavy metal period?

Gary could use the whammy bar and shred as good as EVH. I think Gary was faster but he didn't do the double tapping Eddie does a lot. Smart on Gary's part. Back in the 80's the players who did the two hand tapping were obliviously ripping off EVH. EVH once said that before he got his first record out, he would turn his back to the audience when he soloed to prevent someone from stealing his licks.

Holy crap, that's a blast from the past! I was at this show. Was part of a festival that Rod Stewart was headlining. If remembered correctly this was one of the first shows at which Gary played the lengthy (12 minutes +) instrumental "The Loner" which blew everyone away including the MC who at first made a rather negative introduction for Gary's set.
