Uh OH.

Perhaps the non-epic sit-in with TTB was a harbinger of another health bummer.

Get well soon brother!

his band will play a free show. I say they should get Junior Mack to sing!

I saw him Wednesday night in Greenville, SC. He looked tired. In fact the whole band looked tired. Not nearly as on fire as when I saw them 6 months ago. Hopefully nothing serious.

25+ shows between now and end of October.....He'll never make it. Its gonna be a long hot couple of months. Hopefully he gets some rest and doesn't have to cancel too many shows. I've got tix to Gregg & ZZ Top for Sept 1st.

Stay well Gregg.

8 shows a month for three months? That's a show every 3 or 4 days. I don't know why you're saying "He'll never make it". That's not a ridiculous schedule at all. As long as he's healthy, that should not be a problem for him. The key is...........is he healthy? I saw him last October in Sonoma, he looked and sounded great. I'm seeing him and ZZ Top on October 1st of this year.

Actually he's got one 5 show run with one day off, another 4 show run with one day off, another 3 day run all with summer heat and travel. That would be tough even for me at 60 and I'm in fairly good health. I just don't see it happening without some issues. Don't get me wrong, I wish him all the best. But history tells me when he try's to push it hasn't worked out well. Remember he was unable to finish out a 10 day Beacon run with no travel or summer heat. Just my opinion.......

In the last year or so and moving forward, it seems GA has toured and is touring more than in recent years. As pointed out, there are several multi day shows in a row & others spaced out. At his age and with his health history, it has to be expected he's going to miss shows here or there. Hopefully that's the exception.

Whenever I buy an advanced ticket for Gregg, there's always the thought in the back of the mind, will his health be good for that show. When I saw him a few months ago, he was fine, and the show was excellent.

Wish the guy good health. He loves touring and playing for the fans. Music is his life's blood.

Please take a look at the tour schedule.....
Aug 16 to Sept 3 = 12 shows in 19 days
Sept 16 to Oct 7 =14 shows in 21 days
That's not 8 shows a month.....

I stand corrected.....no 4 day straight show runs, but a few 4's with one day off.
One 5 day with one night off.

He cancelled FloydFest, as well. Just me....I've always thought Gregg's post ABB tour schedule was ambitious. All things considered...age, health issues, fewer dates with
ABB. I was happy to see him on the road so much. Get Well, Gregg!

When I saw him this spring he was good. Sorry to hear about him being sick, like everyone hope he bounces back and continues to be able to do what he loves (and what we love going to see).

🙁 Not cool. This is serious.

I'm keeping Gregg in my prayers and I hope he recovers.
