A really good 2015 interview with Gregg Allman. I did it for a WSJ story, where it ran in an edited form, but never published in full > http://bit.ly/2qR15N2

Talks about why Marc Quiñones and Peter Levin helped his solo band blossom - and why he was ready to play with Dickey again. That part got a lot of attention, and the rest of the interview sort of got lost in the shuffle.

Great re-reading the whole thing.

...."the more my band and I are together, with each time we are together with our instruments, it gets a little more refined and a little more sophisticated and a little more kick ass and at the same time being relaxed and jammable at any moment."

Did Gregg really use the word "jammable"?

In case there was any doubt this guy was clear and present about what he was trying to do with his life, let that all wash away now please.
