Fox 04 run

Listened to 9/25/04 last night. Guess I never really gave it a good listen or if i did it was years ago. Time flys.. The x factor is present. I think of that as the band fully in sync, the room and the sound aligned and the crowd giving it back. Anyone who was there care to share some stories or opinions on the best show or songs from the run ?
I think 03 - 06 was the high peak of the last line up with a resurgence in 09 with the fire brought with the 40th anniv. Some great shows after that here and there but almost every show is a doozy from 03-06 IMO.

That weekend still rates as one of the best weekends of music I've ever seen. In recent memory, only the original Crossroads Festival in Dallas compares. The band (and crowd for that matter) were on a mission. It felt like the Beacon but on home turf, a little more rowdy and engaging from the audience.
From the first night, Mt Jam opener, Jackie P to the Why Does Love Got to be So Sad>Franklins Tower (full of Blue Sky licks), Southbound triple guitar attack to close is some of the best ever........with the return of Blue Sky on Saturday night, the whole wknd was epic. The Layla encore ...could go on and on. Get excited just thinking about it....
The band should officially release the Fox Box....get some hype up...then come back for 3 Allmans Family shows at the Fox (complete w/ guests Jackie P, Chuck, Jimmy Herring, Ron Holloway, Bill Evans, Susan, etc) 😛 Hell let all the kids open (Devon, Lamar, Berry, Duane B., Duane T. Vaylor). Let Alan and Kirk talk in between stage changes.
This should have already happened...

Yes, and as I have reiterated several times on this forum, re-release the shows with cleaned-up the sound quality. Of the 25 or so 'Instant Live' shows I've purchased over the years, the Fox Box ranks among the worst. The bass is terribly muddy.
