Well, recently on the Sea of Tranquility channel on Youtube, which is hosted by Pete Pardo, they talked about some albums that may have been forgotten by some people out there, but they're albums that you should check out. If you're not subscribed to this channel, I strongly recommend it!! Lots of great music content!! He had his list of forgotten albums, and I decided to include my own picks as well. Those are fun lists. Most of the albums I am unaware of. And a handful of the bands as well.

From yours, I love the Albert Collins, Robert Cray, Johnny Copeland one.

Derek's Songlines is my favorite of theirs so it has never been forgotten by me. I love the song "Sailing On".

Otis Rush: Mourning in the Morning. I have to dig that one out again. Some great blues.

Paul Rodgers: Muddy Water Blues is an awesome one. The guests on that are really impressive.

 

From his, Backdoor Slam is a good one. I saw Davy Knowles, their singer in a packed small club in Chicago about five years ago and he knocked my socks off.

I have the Mark Knoffler Chet Aklins album. If you like accomplished guitar player this one is very fine indeed.

The self-titled debut album from Kansas.

 

It seems most people think they started with Leftoverture,but to me the first album blew away anything that came after it.Yet,if I mention it to most people,I get a blank look.
