Well, here it is.

It might be the worst quality video of all time but it's still a unique video of the original band.

Hang in there, the quality of the shoot improves as it goes along.

I'm told that the guy shooting the video may have been under the influence of the psychedelics of the day!

I hope you enjoy it!

Wow... Dickey on the strat! Even through the quality, it's like peering through the mists of time to a bygone era... thank you so much for sharing... I didn't actually think I'd ever get to see any more unseen Duane footage, but that sent shivers up my spine... 🙂

Thanks!!!

Big thanks to jmorgs12! With so little footage from the early '70's, it's so great to see this.

Someone on Facebook suggested it was recorded on Feb. 14, 1970 at Fillmore East at a show with The Grateful Dead. Judging by Berry's bass solo, he was still developing his soloing skills, meaning it was early in their career. Any little crumb of video of the O6 is always a treat, but this is REALLY SPECTACULAR! Thanks, John!

Wow, very cool, though it reminds me of what it said on my Power Hitter (remember those?), "onward through the fog!"

If you think in terms of how much quality footage of Jimi Hendrix is out there, it's a shame that more footage of the original Allman Brothers Band isn't available.

There is still some GREAT footage out there ( in somebody's vault ) of Duane jamming away in the legendary peacock shirt.
