5 or fewer? (sorry had to bust your grammar chops there)

Derek & The Dominoes
Mudcrutch
Cream
Phil Lesh & Friends
Jaimoe's Jassz Band

I'm sure I'm forgetting some obvious ones, but that's off top of my head...

Good call on Dominoes, would add Blind Faith
Jimi & Eric were mentioned - a little off-topic but would have to add the 1st 5 by ABB - ABB, ISouth, Filmore, Peach, & Beginnings (posthumously)
Good call on Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band - would also add Sea Level, Jazz Is Dead, BLT, West Bruce & Laing, Captain Beyond.....

My others have already been mentioned. I’ll add:

Sublime.

Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac (you almost have to consider later FM a different band, IMHO).

Stevie Ray Vaughn is a great one who did not get to release a lot of studio stuff.

He did have six studio releases if you count family style with his brother as one.

go for life was the mid 80's one. after that they've done mans world, mystic fire and a dylan covers album. all of those feature leslie and corky. leslie or corky have never never released an album strictly as mountain without the other being present since they got back together in the early 80's

Yes, Twin Peaks, which was well before then, was the only one
Even without Steve I liked Avalanche - but w/no him Or Corky On Twin Peaks, which was around the same time as Avalanche, well....but Twin Peaks is still good, esp the 2-sided
NanSleighride

Their early ones are where it’s at for me - same w/so many bands, Wishbone Ash, ELP, Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, Journey, Rod Stewart, Elton John, oh also that one, A B B Cool

"Stevie Ray Vaughn is a great one who did not get to release a lot of studio stuff."

"He did have six studio releases if you count family style with his brother as one."

1. Texas Flood
2. Couldn't Stand the Weather
3. Soul to Soul
4. In Step

5. Family Style?

Are you counting the outtakes / leftovers collection "The Sky is Crying"?
