Heading out in the morning!

Anyone interested in unknown forays into a social media photo safari of this adventure and wants to follow me on the Instagram or the Twitters PM me for my username.

I'd offer setlist updates, but I think that info will be pretty easy to come by, unless someone volunteers to be the person I text song titles to so they can update this thread. 😛 Cool

A stage pic has been posted:

Moid beat me to it ... Hope you enjoy the ride, Yerry! Safe travels, have a great show, and not too many healthy vegie burritos on Shakedown Street. 😉 Wish I was able to go but glad to know someone who is!

Heading out in the morning!

Where are you coming from? I'm 5 miles from Levi's Stadium but I'm not going.

They are definitely being streamed, it's been advertised for months. I'd buy it but was waiting to see if I'd be working and I am, 12 hours Saturday and Sunday.

I can see Levis stadium from my house but I wasn't planning on going due to the prices. This week I saw an article about the tickets going for cheap on Stubhub so I checked it out. We got tickets for Sunday's show for $89.50 ea. The face value was $200 plus the fees. Looking forward to the show now! We can just walk over.

I also live close by and had a ticket for Saturday but my wife just had a medical procedure done yesterday and I don't feel comfortable being away from her so soon so I had to give my ticket up....

Have a great day BHawk....Shouldn't be too hot tomorrow like it been the last 2 days...

To anyone here who is going, I hope you have a grate time!

We're planning to purchase the webcast for tonight's show; I'm thinking I'll purchase the webcast for my iMac and then stream it via Apple TV to our 50" flatscreen hooked up to Klipsch Heresy speakers...

--OR--

should I just use my Apple TV to sign into the You Tube app and stream the show that way??

I don't want any technical difficulties at the last minute; any grate ideas out there? Thanks!

The big downside of the YouTube option is that it's live only, wheras the webcast version has the concert(s) you purchase available on demand for 30 days after the show for the same price as the YouTube live only cast.

"Look for spray bottles and enjoy the ride!"

We had neighbors at Jazz Fest in New Orleans one year that had a spray bottle, and they would periodically spray eiach other with it. After watching them for a while it was pretty clear there was something more electric than just water in that spray bottle Smile

After a while we made eye contact and I gave him a knowing glance. He walked over to me, and with a wink in his voice said "Hey buddy, want some...WATER?" I said sure and he doused me right in the face.

It certainly enhanced the rest of the day Smile

I just got home from a week outside of Macon. I'm not going to stream the show. It's a little too late... but you never know. Keep us apprised Hemp!

While I was away my Jerry Garcia on Broadway, the 10/28/87 acoustic matinee and acoustic and electric evening show arrived so I'm listening to that.

I give it a giant recommendation especially if you like Jerry's bluegrass side.

Tuned in...hope I can stay awake...been a long,tiring day,but excited!

Not a huge post Dead fan,but enjoy Phil and Friends alot, particularly the work he did with Trey-although oddly I'm not a Trey fan or a Phish fan,but he does a fine job on Dead tunes so I believe he'll do an excellent job.

If people dig being sprayed that's their choice, but to do so without a person knowing,IMHO,seems wrong.

Enjoy the show! Cool

Thoughts after first couple songs, stream has been great! Looks incredible and sounds good. Mix is pretty good, could use a little piano maybe and Bob's vocals are a bit low sometimes, but for a stream not terrible at all. Trey seems to be playing it a bit safe so far, solid but nothing really out there yet. Phil is a friggin monster on bass and sounds pretty decent singing Alligator-for being Phil. They can stop showing shots of Bill Walton anytime.

Naturally Trey rips a pretty cool solo at the end of Alligator right after i post this...
