This is a little surprising. Thought for sure a full Weather Report Suite was going to happen this weekend.

Was hoping for something like a Playing Reprise>Slipknot>Franklins.

Trey definitely studied his Jerry!

That was a really good Help>Slip...

Some nice, sinister sounds coming out of Trey.

Was scared after the really short "pre-drums" part of set 2, but the Playing, and the full Help>Slip>Franklin's afterwards is great!

Agree schleif, this set came in heavy after the drumz/space break.

This is not your Daddy's Dead show.

When Mason's Children and Scarlet>Fire and H>S>F are in the same set. 😛

I'm guessing it means something about song placement.

Going back to that Buick commercial... meaning these guys didn't emulate the pattern of many of the Dead shows I attended.

Song placement... early Drumz exploration...

Just saying it was mixed up a bit.

We'll.... I've seen Phil play Mason's pretty frequently.

But I hear where you are coming from Bhawk.

Agreed. by the 90s, the Dead were set in a pattern of what songs went where (1st set, 2nd set pre-drums, 2nd set after space). they've broken out of that, which is great. Help>slip>Franklin's tended to be a 2nd set opener (though when it was just Franklin's, was also played in the first set). Glad they're mixing things up
