The guy who threw the thing should be charged with aggravated battery.

Tread wisely when joking about Clapton. Claptoneastas have very thin skins when when it comes to all things Eric.

@stratdal I read last night that a bizarre behavior is in vouge now for concerts. And that is someone in the audience will throw something toward the front man hoping to hit the person in the face, chest or somewhere to shock and awe the audience and the band on stage.

I had never heard of such a thing and it's dangerous and bad behaviour.

There was a local politician on the TV news last night promising to keep biological men out of the women's rest room and women's sports. No one will be physically hurt by any of that.

But throwing objects at musicians on a stage will eventually get someone seriously injured. Only someone reckless and evil and mean would throw something at a performer.

Even if they suck, the days of throwing tomatoes at the stage ended 100 years ago.

For all sorts of reasons, lots of crazy and lots of weird out about these days.  Be vigilant and be safe.

Nobody should be tossing anything up on stage. I took my wife and kids to see Luke Combs at MSG 11/30/21. I got the kids pit tickets while the wife and I were in the seats. Luke was playing a happy ol' show. He was spraying the audience with beer having a grand old time. Someone in the pit figured it goes both ways and tossed a plastic cup filled with beer up onstage and oh man did Luke and the band have a different point of view?
