Eat a Peach Tribute Guitar

I recently found out that my Eat a Peach Tribute Guitar is now sitting elbow to elbow with Duane Allman's darkburst Les Paul in a new cabinet made by American Music Furniture in Duane's bedroom at the Big House Museum. I am wowed and humbled. Richard handed me Duane's goldtop on my first visit to the Museum. The ABB are my musical heroes and teachers.
I presented the guitar during the 2018 GABBAfest Member's Jam on the Big House's outdoor stage, and returned in 2019, on our honeymoon!, to play it again.
...and that was the last time I saw Skoots. He was the undisputed mastermind that made the connections to get me and my guitar to Macon. He and I changed the strings and shot the shit, and Dorothy and I had him over to our airbnb for a meal before we headed out to the show downtown. RIP Skoots, your big hearted spirit is flying!

Looks very good and cool. Is it an Ibanez guitar? Body looks as if it is.

Beautiful work jmacs. What an honor for you and what a gift you shared with the rest of us.
I was at the Big House summer of 2018. Sorry I missed this.

Eat a Peach inspired guitar build...

jmacs - it looks phenomenal!
I wore my MacDonald Art T-shirt with pride until I spilled food all over it.... Doh!
Grateful to have been a small part of you making this happen

There's the Ibanez Artist model that has a carved top doublecutaway. Very nice! I make guitars starting with planks of Honduras mahogany. The carved top on my design is more along the lines of an ES 335, which allows the body to be a bit thinner, and a bit lighter, weighing in around 8 lbs...
I was hoping we would make it down to GABBAfest this year, but it's called off.
Do any of you guys go to the Skydog Fest in Macon?

Great honor and beautiful guitar. Loved the pics that you shared of the making.
I will say that I get sad when I see instruments on display or hung on walls - they should be played.
But I lose that battle. LOL
If it will be on display - No Better place for it. Congrats!

I'd say the Big House is really good about getting their guitars out and played. They have a really nice amp set up and if you ask nice...
But I agree, guitars should be used. I've been playing just about all my life and want my guitars to look great, sound great, and play great.
