Just found this record, "Dusty In Memphis", unbelievable. Tom Dowd one of the producers, and did the horn arrangements. Here is a link to a Youtube mix of Dusty's songs, the first two
are incredible, "Don't Forget About Me" and "Breakfast in Bed", stellar shining power horns by Dowd. Turns out this record is on the Rolling Stone list of best records of all time, for once I have to agree.

If a broken heart could sing, it would be Dusty's voice.

Breakfast in Bed - by the late, great Eddie Hinton! I believe he plays on this album, too.

He also produced my fav Son Of A Preacher Man

The bass is just so soft and comfy. A classic Memphis style tune

yep, Sonuva Preacherman on this record too. Dowd knocks the horns out of the park on this number also. Nobody can compete, with Dusty or Dowd
