I thought the same thing.

I have been wondering if there would be a memorial, perhaps that is just too much to contemplate for the family after what happened.

I just googled for funeral and/or memorial service and can't find anything. I live in Orlando and would like to attend anything open to the public between Jacksonville and West Palm Beach. Just a fan who thinks the only person who knows why isn't here.

I think it would be nice to have a memorial celebration of his life for the fans who want to come and remember, whether it be in Macon or in Florida. I also think a lot of people wonder if the original band members will all find resting places at Rose Hill, that's where it all started, should it all end there, with everyone back there? There sure would be some cosmic energy there if that were to happen' but the families of the individual band members may want them closer to where they live so they can visit them.
