Both are beautiful tributes -- as are all -- to a man who passed so fittingly
NRBQ has a Gem of an EP in its catalog (& my collection 
) -- it's called Interstellar -- two live dates, 1 Jan 1970 Ludlow Garage, & the other June 1970 in Clinton Hollow NY
they're in Sun Ra mode at both shows, playing his music
oh my the Col would've been so at home on those stages -- 2 kindred-spirit albums (it & ARU)
of course the HGB was on the bill the nite John & Yoko sat in w/the Mothers of Invention summer 71 Fillmore --
Sun Ra, Ornette Coleman, Rashaan Roland Kirk, NRBQ, the other freeform improvisers -- & the Col. -- occupiers of a musical galaxy all their own -- his ARU CD was among the 1st CDs I ever bought
stage>time-space continuum, 1 fell swoop -- we should all be so lucky, & were to have the music of the Colonel -- RIP sir
