Duane Betts tour dates

Devon Allman Project is doing 18 cities this fall and Duane Betts is in the band but not Oakley.

@robertdee: Interesting. Makes me wonder if there wasn't some kind of falling out between Allman Betts Band members.

@robslob Yes me too. Back in the spring I wondered if the hiatus of Allman Betts Band was Devon Allman not getting the spotlight time he was use to getting in his previous bands or if it was a strain between Devon and Duane Betts.
But during the summer, someone, maybe Alan Paul, I can't recall today, wrote the problem wasn't between those two.
So it must be other members. Seems Oakley may be one but I don't know really. What I do know is it's a shame. That band had attracted a good crowd and great crowd response at the last two Allman Betts Band shows I saw.
Reminds me how the Allman Brothers Band let the huge success they experienced in 1973 and 74 slip away and die on the vine because of internal and lifestyle issues by 1975 and 76 and completely threw in the towel in March 1976. They later experienced various degrees of success but nothing like 1973 and 74.

Betts has Berry, Johnny, and Ginty
Allman has Betts
Will this all evolve back into the ABB similar to 2018?
1 + 1= 3 !!!

I don't care what the band is called but Stachela has to be in it ... Allman, Betts and Oakley may have the famous names, but Stachela has the licks that make me want to go see / hear them ... just my 2 cents ... I do love them all

@harvey Well you are right. Johnny is a very good guitar player.
Here is Johnny playing Little Martha on the same guitar Duane Allman used in 1971. This was recorded at Dickey's house. BTW Dickey owns the guitar. Gregg Allman gave it to Dickey when Duane Allman died.
Johnny on One Way Out and Andy on guitar too.

Cant say I disagree. I really enjoy his playing. Got skills and great tone and feel. In a way I am surprised he has not moved on or has done other projects/worked with other artist.
Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

Those tour Dates for him and Allman Family Band really don't even touch the Midwest.
