Have You Ever Loved a Woman from this show is one of the best things you will ever hear.  Can't wait to hear a cleaned up version of this historically important show.

The one (among others) that got away...

I was attending St. Pete Jr. College majoring in draft evasion.  Day of the show my friend, RIP, Mike, asked me a couple times if I wanted to go.  I don’t know why but I blew it off.  Duane was not announced.

Next day I saw him and the first words out of his mouth were, “Duane Allman was there and played the whole set.”

Ticket sales were a bit soft, a few thousand when Curtis Hixon held 10,000 or so.  It was said that many did not connect DatD with Eric Clapton.

Truth is I took the Brothers for granted a little bit because they played central FL so often.

Lucky I got to hear them though.

This full concert will be availble on Youtube tonight at 8pm on Youtube. Sound on key to the highway is much improved so I would guess the rest of this show will be the same too.
