Does Marc Quinones play for the Doobs?

Read a thing about the Santana show for the Woodstock anniversary and it mentioned that Marc was sitting in (along with Bill Payne) for part of the Santana show. It was poorly written and seemed to say that Marc and Bill Payne are touring with Little Feat, but I think it was supposed to say that they both are touring with the Doobie Bros. who are currently opening for Santana. I know Bill Payne has played keys for them for a while now.
Anyone know the answer? I am not a big Doobie Bros. fan, but also good to see anybody still out there making a living.

I know Marc is touring with the Doobies.

Marc Quinones has been a touring member of The Doobie Brothers for a couple of years now. I heard someone mention here recently that he adds a lot to their sound, which is easy for me to believe after his contributions to ABB.

Thanks for the info. The Doobs can sure hire pretty well... Marc, Bill Payne, and John Cowan.
I bet their shows would be pretty good if only they weren't playing Doobie Brothers songs. (Don't get too pissed at me, that was mostly a joke.)

I love doobies.

I just saw him with the Doobs open for Santana.
He was playing in the wrong band that night, imo!!!

Saw Doobies/Santana last week at PNC in NJ. Great show all around and the Doobies actually had some good jams among their huge catalog of hits. Then they joined Santana for a couple tunes. This is pretty representative:

Yep catching this tour tomorrow at SPAC. The doobs an Santana can still bring it and a doob always helps - partake in the event.

Gregg was so great on the Takin' it to the Streets. You could tell when gregg wasn't comfortable with the lyrics of a song or of a new song in general....he'd be more hesitant. On Takin', he was great!!
I wish they would release a soundboard single download of it. Do it on his birthday and make it a fundraiser. Maybe with Marc in the touring band, it could be suggested. It's too good for that youtube vid to be the only way the world hears it.
