Has to be a take off on the GLIMMER TWINS!!
Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. Some of the Stones albums are produced by the GLIMMER TWINS.
Says on the net page for the GLIMMER TWINS though they have gone through months and ever years unable to speak to each other and unable to be in a recording studio at the same time, nonetheless they are one of the most successful song writing teams in music history earning both men in excess of 100 million dollars!!$$$
