Mr. Spero knows that he himself was not contacted. He does not say that Dickey told him nobody contacted him. He just says that he would know if an invitation was extended. Now think about it, would Gregg call Spero instead of Dickey? Hell No, if Gregg wanted to invite Dickey he would have called him directly, Butch wouldn't have, he would have made Gregg do it, but as I said Gregg gave a reason as to where Dickey was that he would not be coming.

Gregg did not say that he could not reach Dickey, in a polite manner he indicates that he did contact him. Since Dickey's manager was not contacted, that means a) Gregg contacted Dickey directly or b) Gregg is lieing. I think Gregg did contact him directly.

I think it would be very emotional, Dickey returns only to play the last shows of a band that just wants to retire. Why should he come back to say goodbye? People don't come back to say goodbye, when they come back, they stay and keep something going.

Maybe they all need to go to BB King's and invite Dr. Phil.

I would expect that if the ABB were to reach out to Dickey directly, Jaimoe would have been the one to do it. Could Jaimoe have reached out and Dickey not returned his call? Maybe. Could Dickey's manager not know about that? Maybe. Spero today posted definitely that Dickey will not be there.

That just keeps it short and simple, doesn't say whether he was or was not contacted. it just tells people what they want to know, if he would be coming or not. If he was not invited of course he will not be coming, if he was invited and declined, he will not be coming.

Dickey is not on a hunting or fishing trip, and Spero handles everything for him. He's very much in tune anedn in touch regarding all things Dickey. Hey Rusty

On opening night during NOLTRW going into, Will the circle be unbroken, while showing video of past members and saying goodbye, there was barely a picture of Dickie never mind him playing again with the band.

Dickey will be playing with Derek and Susan at their upcoming Sunshine Festival , they may be the obvious liaison.

I would like to think GA is on speaking terms once again with Dickey & Donna, it's a nice thought if nothing more.
