Ah yes.
I caught both nights at The Bottom Line in NYC.
Can't recall if there was early/late shows.
But I walked up and bought tickets both nights.
Thems was the days.

This RSD Black Friday release is kinda surprising. This show (with same cover art) also has a regular release on CD and DVD but what's confusing is the fact that those are what you call "grey area" releases of radio broadcasts. In other words: legal to sell in the European Union but illegal in the USA. Those releases are never done by big labels but obscure ones. Small companies who want to make a buck as long as these laws in Europe are in place.
Sometimes they are very nice additions to an ABB collection (especially if you collect on vinyl) but at the same time it's annoying to see the laziness / disinterest in the way they are released. Often pictures of a different line-up from different band era on the cover (like the picture of Dickey on this new release), wrong recording / broadcasting details or misspelled names of musicians. RSD Black Friday is not a world wide event like the regular RSD because many countries simply don't have a Black Friday. So it's odd to see this released on the USA market because i thought it would be illegal to do so there.
