This sounds much better than the Florida videos. Who's playing sax in the band?

Fun. Emotional night in Macon. First time Dickey & Jaimoe have played together in 18 years. It was moving. No one has Dickey's tone. Great setlist. Probably my favorite band lineup Dickey has had since the Brothers.

I did not expect to see the same player/singer at 74 who in his 40s & early 50s packed Lakewood Amphitheatre in the 1990s, so it exceeded expectations. My favorite set from Devon I've ever seen, too and the late night set from Jaimoe was typical great Jasssz Band with a Jack Pearson bonus!

And a big reunion of the extended musical family. My heart is full.

Spot on in my opinion... Random thoughts here:

The vibe in Macon last night was really incredible. I think Dickey was really touched by the support & love that was coming his way.

Duane's solo on Whipping Post was off the charts.

Devon Allman brought the fire last night. I have been reading a lot lately that the electric guitar is dead etc... someone might want to talk to Devon & Duane about that.
