@peccles I saw a Ticketmaster advertisement on a cable music channel and Ticketmaster called it The Allman Brothers. Not the Allman Brothers Band just The Allman Brothers.
The Dead had a similar problem as by oversight or purposely some promotors would claim the Grateful Dead was performing.
Hope ticket buyers who may not be tuned in to all things Allman Brothers Band don't show up expecting the show to sound like The Allman Brothers Band does on the classic radio stations because it won't.
Probably some of the instrumentals will be similar enough.

Duane totally found his voice on guitar. Whole show is top notch.
The Back Where It all Begins with Warren was sublime.
Smoking hot from start to finish. The entire band got lost during the organ solo in Liz Reed. But true pros that they are, they recovered extremely nicely and Warren went into a burning solo to pick up the pace. Other than that, to me the show was impeccable. And I loved all the speeches showing SO much appreciation for Dickey. I hope this scholarship fund really takes off money-wise.
Caught part of it after our set, had a long drive, so I'm definitely gonna scope it out sometime today.
Before Dickey joined the Allman Brothers Band he was a professional bull rider performing in rodeos around the country.
And in his later years Dickey was an avid gardener spending many hours planting and attending to his garden and plants.
That might have been my favorite part of the show. It seemed to go on forever. In a great way.
