Holy sh*t that was AWESOME! Oh please, oh please can we have more "country" music like this! Wynonna is hardly new country...she's been doing it forever and has definitely lived the hard life. WOW! Love that Derek is getting involved and contributing to things he finds inspiring outside of the usual suspects...just excellent! Awesome tune, awesome music. Southern Gothic...same brew that seeped into/breathed life into the original ABB. For more of DT in this setting...check out Rosanne Cash's last album; possibly her best!
