Derek Trucks appreciation thread

Found this interview, pretty laid back and some good questions. I like the part where he says he tried staring at his right hand to try to figure out what it was doing (in reference to why he doesn't use a pick) and he says he found he couldn't play, {his right hand talking} "why are you looking at me? this has nothing to do with you."
Then, there is this classic, don't need no audio from the singer, not required on this song:

He is indeed something special, as this interview proves:

Excellent...thanks for posting.

A few of my favorite DT moments:
Why Does Love Have to Be So Sad with Clapton (2007 Crossroads fest):
The definitive Midnight In Harlem (2010 Crossroads):
Studio version of High Cost of Low Living...that coda!
Derek, Susan, Warren: I'd Rather Go Blind (at White House):
Soulshine...Thought the gospel nature of it played well to DT's strength...& final lineup raised the bar on the tune:
And in full on "out there" jazz with dTb: Majoun/Greensleeves:
