and more albums. since 1990 the stones have released 4 studio albums and we'll say enough random tunes for a 5th. since 1990 deep purple is about to release their 9th album and easily has enough random tracks for a 10th. lets just say since 2000 the stones are gearing up for their 3rd album and deep purple their 5th

not a chance of 3 more. the current pace if you aren't counting this years album 3 albums from now would be sometimes around 2029 or 2030 because they've been doing roughly every 4 years for albums. in 2030 gillan would be 85, paice 82, glover 85, morse 76 and airey 82. its hard for me to imagine them all being able to play 10 years from now

The last one , I thought they were calling it a day. Bob Ezrin seems to work well with these guys.

Maybe so but who knows how much stuff they have already recorded .

got me there. they could be sitting on some stuff they recorded although by the making of docs from the last few albums even that seems unlikely

Deep Purple will continue its time-honored tradition of releasing at least a live album or two every year.

Interesting fact Matt05, Boy time is going fast and to think they would be in there mid 80's by then...
