Disappointed that there aren't any Nashville or Atlanta dates so far.

Argh, no CT dates. Hmph.

Edgar Winter was on another triple bill with Purple that I saw a while back, maybe for "Bananas" - it was Edgar Winter / BOC / Purple. Interesting that he is with them again.

I also saw Alice Cooper as part of a triple bill - it was Queensryche, Alice Cooper, and Heaven & Fell (Dio/ Sabbath). Alice stole the show. He might steal this one also.

I have seen Edgar open twice for Alice and twice for Deep Purple and now combined. Edgar must play 300 shows a year as I see him every year and I don't even try to. For 35 years I have been saying " Edgar - cut the skatting. he gets a half hour set and skats for 15 minutes of it. I don't get it. very nice guy.

Cooper and Purple together? Seen both so many times that separately I may have passed but together.....well I may have to point the car somewhere.

Stunned they are going to be in the central Indiana. I think the Indy area gets skipped a lot on some shows . The last time DP was here it was 2002 on a tour with The Scorpions and DIO.

The venue is about 15-20 mins from my home, so that will be nice. Never have seen Alice or Edgar. The way it looks I guess DP is headlining? Kind of surprised they are playing Deer Creek. That place holds about 24,000. I guess since its multi band. I would be surprised if they pull in 5,000 in sales and that would be pushing it. Could be wrong. I would rather see them at The Lawn downtown or the Murat.

The last time I have been to Deer Creek was 2008 to see Rush. Well, I did take my kids to see
No Doubt in 2009 so I guess that was my official last time there. That was a pretty good show, I would have to admit. 😉

The Chicago venue is God Awful. There are other venues here but I think this is the largest.

Unfortunately this is a shed tour so I will be skipping it. Being in NYC, we have Jones Beach and PNC and both are pains to get to. Would have gone had they played Barclays or MSG.
