How was last night?
Just tuned in...any idea when they go on?

Watched the show last night,6/10-boring.
The band is tight, piano great,Weir sang well for Weir,Oteil was fine, drummers fine...Mayer was certainly capable, but his singing and playing often landed in John Mayer territory...ugh...last year he was more in the groove of the music, this year he's being more of himself...and I get dizzy watching him bopping his head and jumping up and down..reminds me of Garcia 😉

Sorry, I did not see your post last night.
Overall, I enjoyed the show and I just finished listening to 6/9 for the 2nd time VOD. I enjoyed the set list quite a bit and the pacing was good. I can't compare to last year as this is my first Dead & Co show and I'm not really up on Mayer so I'm going into it with fresh eyes, so to speak. Mayer is a really good guitar player obviously, but compared to the last Phil and Friends shows it was a little less interesting as Phil (love his bass playing & vocals) had keys, 2 guitarists and Robert Randolf plus Karl Denson on sax and flute. I think Jeff Chimenti's playing is quite interesting and I liked all his solos. I think I'll probably buy another show or two later in the month.
Dead & Company: Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, John Mayer, Bob Weir, with Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti

I missed seeing the email heads up on the 13th from Dead & Co about this live freebie. 🙁 I wonder if they'll offer any more live webcasts free... Anyway, great to see and hear this show. I'm about 1/3 of the way into the second set.
2nd set
