Dead and Co Fenway- Alcohol free seating?

Hi we are going to Fenway to see Dead and Co. Never been to Fenway, and tix are cheaper on StubHub than Ticketmaster. However the seats I am looking at have a message "alcohol free seating." Does anyone know if this is enforced heavily? It isn't sold out so even if I buy these I am thinking I will be able to move around in different sections, but not sure as I have never been to Fenway. Anyone have any insight? Thanks!

Just based on Sox games...
Used to be they would throw you out if you were not drinking. They have changed that policy.
Alcohol free = family section, not sure how that works at a Dead related show.
They are pretty strict at Foxboro, can get tossed and possibly lose your season tickets over a $12 beer.
If it's a sold out show moving around might be difficult. Old park, not a lot of room to move esp. in the grandstand.

I always try to find the "Free Alcohol" seating 😛

Haha I will be looking for that section! Maybe I'll wait another week, it seems like there are plenty of tickets, maybe I can get a deal on some better seats. thanks for the info!

I assume the stage will be in center field?
I like the roof box seats. Around $100 per if you can get them. Good view of the whole field. Beer stands are only a few steps away.

I go to Fenway Park to see several Sox games each year. I occasionally sit in the alcohol free sections (32 & 33) and, yes, they do enforce the policy during a game. You won't get thrown out of the venue but you will be asked to take your alcohol out of the section if you want to finish drinking it.
