He does a great job with this tune.
None of his efforts have matched Back Door Slam's first album, unfortunately. I've bought all his releases hoping he'd rebottle that awesomeness, but it's rather pedestrian (as far as awesome guitar players go), the sustained songwriting just isn't there.
I thought he'd be a force to be reckoned with but it never came to be.
What's the title and / or release year of that first Back Door Slam's debut?

The album is called Roll Away. Not sure the year -- some time in the mid-2000's.
It's a great one. I still play it often.
After that one album he disbanded that band and went solo.
