Just he and guitar, small place... sounded phenomenal. His voice is on as ever, guitar playing stellar, timing unbelievable. And a relief to hear other than CSN stuff, he was digging for deep cuts from the Planet Earth Rock and Roll Orchestra, and some new things he has been doing. The chestnuts were great too, Carry Me, and an unreal solo juggling act on Deja Vu.

Often depressing to hear these old cats, and they are just sitting on their laurels, playing the same ten songs, skill and health failing... not the case here, at all. Crosby is current, creating anew, looking fit and clean. If you get a chance to hear him solo, don't miss.

Thanks for the review. Glad to hear David is sounding so good these days. Actually I'm a bit surprised.

Huh. Good news. So why is Nash so pissed at him? I assumed it was because he was using again, must be cash/business issues?

I think it is just irreconcilable differences brought on by an ego clash.

I really never paid too much attention to Crosby. The tune he recorded with Snarky Puppy is so mellow I have to turn up the volume to 11 just to hear it. Wonderful performance. Maybe I'll dig further into his tunes now after all these years.
