Saw the movie and he definitely is not a nice guy. I found the movie sad, I feel he knows he screwed up and thinks the end is near. Very sad when he said " not one of my friends still speaks to me". I think Nash is the toughest of all. Crosby was my favorite singer in CSN and is one of my favorite singers of all time. Like the Mick in baseball you don't have to be a good guy to be great at what you do.

Disagree 100% that he was the big deal if you're talking musically. Added almost nothing as a guitarist, was the 3rd best songwriter and certainly wasn't looked at by anyone in the band as a leader.

I find it a compelling mystery that of all the total @ssholes of the music industry, David Crosby is singled out for special vilification. I have read the same info available to all and am curious to know why DC merits any more disgust than all the other scoundrels who did the same crap. Even weirder is how folks post these things and never say why, just that Crosby is the worst person in music. That is quite a singular accusation, it is as if somehow they have a personal grudge against Crosby. Weird. Kinda creepy actually.

Ran into David many years ago at The Beacon at a Steely Dan show. He was with Graham. I had seen CSN&Y earlier that year at Jones Beach. I said hello and thanked him for a wonderful evening of music. Got half a smile and a nod and that was it.
